What is Rafako E-bus?

  • First Polish zero-emission bus with battery in the chassis
  • A completely Polish project, created for the sake of air purity and noise reduction from the environment

Innovative solutions

The purpose of the project was to design and construct a new vehicle that is a complete bus with its design optimised to enable the use of an electric drive. The vehicle is a single-decker MIDI bus (up to 10.5 metres in length) for use in urban public transport. The majority of the vehicle components was designed and built from scratch in Poland.

Light

The skeleton is made in self-supporting technology of light, perforated and bent stainless steel elements as well as light and durable elements made of polyester laminates.

The battery
in the chassis

The innovative placement of the battery in the chassis lowers the center of gravity of the vehicle and improves its traction parameters, positively affecting the behavior of the bus while cornering and for driving safety.

Z głębokim żalem zawiadamiamy, że wczoraj, niespodziewanie, w wieku 62 lat, odszedł od nas Jerzy Wiśniewski, Założyciel i Główny Akcjonariusz Grupy PBG, Prezes Zarządu PBG S.A. oraz RAFAKO S.A., największej polskiej grupy budownictwa energetycznego. Odszedł wizjoner, który całe swoje zawodowe życie poświęcił rozwojowi kraju, angażując się w realizację inwestycji istotnych dla Polski. Stawiał czoła wielu wyzwaniom i przeciwnościom. Wielki patriota, który umiłowanie Ojczyzny rozumiał jako ciężką pracę dla jej rozwoju i pomyślności. Odszedł człowiek wielkiego serca, który bez rozgłosu pomagał ludziom, uważając, że dobroczynność jest przywilejem, a nie obowiązkiem. Mecenas sztuki, miłośnik historii, człowiek wielkiej pasji.

W siedzibie Spółki została wyłożona księga kondolencyjna.
